We had an unexpected day off yesterday due to a serious lack of heating and hot water in the building!
What did you get up to? Did you go on exciting adventures or did you have to do the weekly grocery shop or clean your bedroom?

We have been designing and making gift bags! We have discovered that Mrs Wiser is not that good at sewing but most of us are fantastic! We are brilliant sewers.
As part of design and technology during theAutumn term, year 5/6 have designed bags. They have made their pattern before cutting out the fabric of choice. We have tested our sewing skills and when finished the bags will contain festive treats, which we will be making.
What did you enjoy most? What skills have you developed / learnt?
Base 5 are learning about different soils. The soils
were clay soil, normal soil and sandy soil. We are
trying to find out witch soil drains first with 100ml of
Water. Are equipment was water,bowl,stopwatch,
soil(different types),filter,pin,container and measureing jug. We are going to write are instructions.

Today in assembly we lit the first candle in our advent wreath. The children learnt about what each candle represented.
