Here are some more pictures of our day at RAF Cosford. We all had a lot of fun! All the staff were very proud as we were frequently complimented on the excellent behaviour and attitude of our year 5’s and 6’s. I can’t wait for more school trips! What were your highlights of the day?

On the ball!
I could spin on this disk because there was ball bearings underneath it. Without them you couldn’t move so easily because of the friction. By Hannah d

Built mainly of steel this aircraft was designed to investigate the effect of heat on aircraft structures.the pilot was Godfrey auty.

I was testing my eye sight and trying to read the letters. I was testing my eyesight because if you complete it you have the right eye sight to become a pilot! Jack M

Here we are at Cosford
Today we have pretended to be evacuees,we also went into an air raid shelter (the Anderson shelter). We’re now in fun and flight which is where you test and explore different things and we are nearly at test flight we will be actually trying to test fly a plane and use remote controls.

How can the plastic balls hover?
Harry, at the fun and flight section of RAF Cosford, had 2 plastic balls hovering the air.
