Mrs Hardwick’s maths group have been weighing ingredients.  

         

In science this afternoon we have learnt about how air resistance slows an object down that is moving through the air. To show how this works we have designed and made our own parachutes using tissue paper, blu-tac and cotton thread.

Base 5 are making symmetrical shields with handles out off
Coloured card they are making this because they are learning about Roman shields they got the idea of watching a video about the romans.

In base 5 8 children performed a play Ben thought it was good because he likes tales. Will thought it was good and intresting.james some characters were rude to other characters.



We had a super afternoon making up stories in groups. We had to include the characters that we had come dressed as.

Year 2 have made 3D shapes today. We had to count the faces, vertices and edges! We had great fun!
