Some of our year 5/6 children enjoyed taking part in the indoor athletics last week.
Reception went to see some of the older children perform on the drums and were inspired to create their own drums in the outdoor area this week!
We celebrated Diwali in school last week with a special assembly led by Mrs Branch.
In Reception the children also made some traditional food including chapatis which they really enjoyed.
Children in Base 4 are learning about World War 2 and today they used playdough to help them learn.
Children placed three different coloured places of dough on a laminated map – one on Germany and one on the Soviet Union. They chose another colour on the side which was kept for later ( this will become Italy) They moved the dough around , listening to instructions from the teacher, so that it was clear to see the timeline of the first part of the Second World War.
Yesterday was exciting for the Reception children. They got changed into their PE kit and went to the hall where they did Giant Steps and Fairy Feet!
We hope you enjoy watching them work very hard.
