Outside learning for Reception from Mrs Branch

Hello Reception! Bonnie the dog and I have been gardening today and decided to set you a challenge using our empty trellis! Can you sound out the words and work out which are real and which are alien words? I hope you are all having a lovely time at home. I’ve enjoyed looking at some of the work that you have been doing using your new Purple Mash log ins! Mrs Branch x

Hannah and Megan’s day

Hannah is Year 3 and her sister Megan is in Year One

Home school was outside today and the weather is amazing so they decided to do their allowed exercise and took the dog for a walk across the fields, had races, played cops and robbers and galloped like unicorns ! Not so much English and Maths today but sounds like plenty of fresh air and exercise with no one else in sight ! Well done girls!

Cayden, Ava and Isaac’s day

Cayden, Ava and Isaac started their day with the Joe Wicks workout ( Mrs Harvey are you pleased ?) They have been working through their books and Mummy says she has also learnt a few things !

Then they played outside and learned about the rainforest. They each did a project about an animal .

The children also did some work on a website called the Maths Factor which was developed by Carol Vorderman and we all know how good she is at Maths !

Thank you for sharing your day with us and keep sending more things in !
