We enjoyed the sun today and collected some natural materials to make some portraits! 

Welcome back!

We have had a brilliant first day in Year one! We have been learning all about ourselves – making portraits, measuring our hands, feet and height and thinking about our likes and dislikes.
Everybody has shone today and shown what a super student they are!

Yesterday in year 3/4 we were going round the different bases tasting  strange and familiar teas. Today we have been designing our own tea and creating packaging!  

Unfortunatly the weather was not very nice on Monday, but we still had lots of fun at our end of term beach party!

Toddit the Tortoise visited year 3 and 4 today to see our progress with art week. 

We compared the features of both British and Chembakolli houses. Then we built models of each, can you guess which?

In our group we’re going to do a hook a duck stall and, if you manage to hook one then you’ll  be able to win sweets as a prize. You can have more than one go if you want to ( three goes is the maximum) Around the school there will be more details on our posters.

The mathematicians in Base 1 have been working on their enterprise schemes in order to make money for the school fund.

Each group has been given a budget of £5 to buy their resources and we will have a range of exciting products for sale at break on Tuesday 16th June in the hall.

All children are welcome to bring some money (max £2) to buy our products. Watch this space for more details from each team!
