Base 4 have the challenge of preventing an egg from cracking when dropped from a measured height using only bag, string, cellotape and paper towels.

They are in teams of 3 or 4 and competing for the top prize of 10 house points!!

Must say there is a lot of tension in the classroom this afternoon !

Year 2 have been given the challenge of making videos about rainforest animals! They are currently writing the scripts to perform. We can’t wait to see them! We are using lots of our skills from challenge time!

Year One have been writing ‘senses’ poems all about what we can hear and see in the rainforest. On Thursday we read a round of different poems -thinking about whether we liked each poem and why. We performed our favourite poems as part of a group using actions…

Wow! What an exciting time we had when the animal man came to visit! Everyone was very brave and we learnt such a lot about the rainforest!

1 the food goes into your mouth

3. You swallow the food and it goes Down the oesophagus like.

4. Your stomach dissolves the food.
5. Your intestines separates the food from the water like.

6. The waste food exits vir bottom and But the waste water or drink goes to your bladder

We are creating a healthy low sugar snack by chopping vegetables. We are using our peeling and chopping skills. Yum
