We had fun in DT this week as we learned about the different types of fruit and vegetables, taste tested our favourite fruits and vegetables, and made healthy smoothies. Can your child remember how to distinguish between a fruit and a vegetable?

Year 2 have started to learn fractions this week using mini chocolate rolls to work out quarters.
I am not sure who got to eat them at the end of the lesson though!
Earlier in the week when the sun was shining, the children went outside to look at the different parts of plants.
This little girl was very happy learning about the different parts of daffodils as it was her Granny that had helped with the planting!

Today, Moorfield Primary School chose to support Comic Relief by the children coming to school with crazy hairstyles in return for a donation to Comic Relief.
