The Lindsay Boys!

William and Harry have been very busy during Lockdown.

They have done loads of craft things for Cubs and beavers.

They have made a birdhouse,  done lots of pictures,  been walking, cycling, nature naming, cooking, too much baking, gardening and loads of camping  with campfires! They have played lots of games and are improving with chess!

They have also done Maths, English , Reading and PE.

The boys also did  an assembly for their Mum and Dad on The Solar System and have done a family Covid Capsule!

Wow Harry and William – you have packed lots into your time and thank you for sharing it all with us!

Preston’s Week

Preston had a very busy week last week.

He went outside looking for different insects, and went on some lovely walks. He had a fire one of the evening and toasted some marshmallows!

Whilst the sun was shining, he planted some seeds so that he can watch them grow whilst he is learning about Jack and the beanstalk with his Mummy and Daddy.  They have already grown lots and will be re planted into bigger pots soon.

Preston then spent some time learning all about the story of Goldilocks and the three bears, he then had a go at making 3 different sized chairs for each of the bears with his dad.

Well done Preston – you have been very busy!Prestons Week

Ted Harrison Work

Before school closed, the Year 3/4 children were looking at the work of the artist Ted Harrison.

Mysha has done this at home to show Miss Oliver and her friends.

Well done Mysha, we all think this is a lovely piece of work.

Reception Challenge 4th May

Mrs Branch has sent a message and set you another challenge!

Hello Reception.

I’ve finally managed to get into the garden after all that rain! This week’s challenge is to practice finding halves of numbers. Halving means that we share something into two equal parts. I’ve set two levels of challenge – are you clever enough to complete both?  I’ve included a video of the ‘one for me, one for you’ technique that I would like you to use to find the answers. You can use any objects that you find around the house. I used sticks, plant pots and tins when I did it. I also tried dog treats, but Bonnie the dog kept eating them!

Miss Oliver’s Challenge

paigeblog1

Miss Oliver has been using her new window pens to do some fraction problems.

Please make sure you ask Mum or Dad before you do this and if you dont have window pens, you could find something else to do some fractions with.

If you find creative ways of doing work, please ask Mum and Dad to send photographs to Miss Hedges
