This morning, Reception children walked to Church to take part in a baptism service.

Today, children came to school in spotty clothes in return for a donation to Children in Need.
Children from the after school club More Moorfield have been busy drawing Pudsey pictures which are in the office window.
Children in Reception have had a “photo booth” in the classroom , complete with props!
Thank you everyone for participating and we have added a few photo booth photos below!

Year 2 have taken part in a very special walk around the local area.
As we were learning to find our way around Newport as part of our Geography topic, we also paid our respects to the late Queen.
We went into Twigs flower shop and they very kindly gave us some flowers, which we later laid at The Buttercross. We also popped into the Guildhall to write in the book of condolence.

Mrs Branch spoke to all the children in Reception about butterflies and how they transformed from caterpillars.
The children had caterpillars in the classroom and eagerly checked on them everyday to see what had happened.
They watched the caterpillar grow into a chrysalis and then one day they walked into the classroom and there was a butterfly!
Mrs Branch and the children then released the butterflies and we have added some photographs below.
