We are creating a healthy low sugar snack by chopping vegetables. We are using our peeling and chopping skills. Yum

Today we all worked very hard to make everything we need for our very own rainforest! We will put up some pictures when it is all in place!

In maths today we have been applying our knowledge of place value. We have been ordering the weights of packages and mystery bags of money. We estimated first, counted or looked and then place the items in order on a number line. Brilliant place value skills my maths group!

A blog post a day keeps the head teacher away! An apple a day keeps the doctor away! We have started our new unit in design and technology by looking at the eat well plate. We designed posters to show the food groups and how much food we should be eating!

I’m looking forward to trying some shortbread!

We are having a bake off , this mornings challenge is to make short bread. Each group has 40 mins. I am going to be Mary Berry. Ready, steady , bake!

As part of our star project we have been wearing beer goggles, PC Ridgewell has been helping us learn about drugs and the harmful effects of some drugs. It was good fun!

We would like to say a huge thank you to our hard working PTA. They have given us some money to spend on playground equipment. We love it! We are really enjoying our playtimes! THANKYOU!

Christmas is coming……..and reception are ready!

Last week was book week so this morning we had the chance to look at all the fantastic work that has been produced across the school. We started by looking in each classroom and then had an assembly to listen more closely to some of the work.
