Reception and Year 6 Buddies!

We have had a good start to the Autumn Term and are happy to report that the new children in school have settled down nicely into their new routines.

One of the most daunting times for the children can be lunchtime and so to begin with we partner them with a Year 6 child who already knows the lunchtime routine and will help them find their way and is also someone to talk to and play with and another recognisable face around the school. Thank you Year 6 buddies for all your help!

We have added some photos for you to look at below.

Guinness World Record Attempt

In fitness this term, the children are joining in the Mini London Marathon.

The TCS Mini London Marathon in schools is back, with a special challenge for 2023!
This year, every child who takes part in the TCS Mini London Marathon in schools will be involved in a real-life world record attempt! 🤯 We’ve teamed up with Guinness World Records™ to create this truly special challenge. It is completely free of charge to enter and takes place between Monday 17 April and Friday 12 May. We’re asking schools to sign up their pupils to run, jog, walk or wheel one mile as part of the TCS Mini London Marathon in schools and if we succeed, every school that takes part will receive a certificate from Guinness World Records to display. If you think you know a school that might be interested then forward this email or send them the link below.

We have added some videos of Base 1 & 4 children running their mile for the Guinness World record attempt for Most Children to pledge to a Physical Activity
