As part of their RE learning, Year 5 and 6 visited the Gurdwara in Oakengates last week to learn more about the religion.
The children and staff had a very warm welcome.

Year 6 Alton Towers Trip
The Year 6 children and staff went to Alton Towers last week. The weather stayed kind and they all had a brilliant time.
It is great to be able to continue with all our traditions once again and the Year 6 children are now looking forward to Leaving Performances, a Leaving Lunch and their prom which has been organised by a group of parents.
It all sounds lots of fun!
Year 5/6 won all their games in the cricket competition yesterday ! Well done !

Well done to the year 5/6 swimming team who came 4th in the gala on Monday .
Photographic Workshop
Year 5 children went to the Photograph Workshop today at Deer Park. Children learned how to use a camera properly and how to frame a photograph.
They will send in their favourite photo to school and the best one will be displayed at the Newport Show in July.
Maths in Base 2
In Maths , Mrs Boyle’s class have been doing mental maths and looking at addition and subtraction of decimals – a battle game of strategy!
