Our Stars of the Week

One of our Moorfield traditions is the Star of the Week Assembly which before lockdown happened every Friday.

Now we are back, we can’t have assemblies in our traditional way but we are having a Star of the Week Assembly every Friday via Teams.

So from now on we will share our stars with you on the blog!

Well done children and don’t forget to return your trophy next week!

Welcome Back!

For the last few months, we have been using the school blogs to keep the children in touch with school and to let us know what they have been up to on lockdown or in school if they were able to return in June. We loved seeing everything the children were doing. It was great to keep up with the work the children were doing as well as seeing the fun they were having outdoors and in the kitchen (lots of lovely baking going on!) But most importantly, we hope it gave the children and the staff a continued link with school.

The last few weeks have been busy with new arrangements for opening school and the children have settled in well and are getting used to all the new arrangements.

Starting this week, we plan to start using the blogs again to keep up with what is going on in the classrooms and show you some of the learning that is taking place across the school.
