It was Daniel’s Birthday yesterday and as you can see from the photographs, he was very happy and had a lovely day!

Happy Birthday Daniel from everyone at Moorfield!

On June 1st the school opened to include more children of keyworkers and also Reception and Year One.

It is lovely to have more children back in school, but we have to respect social distancing where we can and children are taught in “bubbles” of no more than 15 children and these children have separate lunchtimes and breaks.  Children and staff have to remain within their bubble and can’t move around as they would usually.

This means that we can’t have assembly in the traditional way – but we do still have it! Just online!  Not quite the same but still good to recognise the Stars of the Week.

Due to the current circumstances, we are unable to offer our usual induction programme.

This week, we have sent out packs of information to those children who will start in Reception.

We have also made a short video, which we hope you will share with the children, so they are more familiar with the school, should we remain unable to arrange a visit before the start date.
